Which vaccines are required?

We require proof of up-to-date rabies, bordetella, and distemper vaccines. We recommend considering the canine influenza vaccine.

Which dog parks do you go to?

We visit the dog park on a daily basis. We typically frequent Bundy Dog Park and S Street Dog Park. On some days we venture out to Shirlington which is a large park along a hiking walkthrough.

What do I need to bring for a boarding reservation?

We provide the bed, blankets, and toys; you just need to provide the dog (and meals)! If there are any sentimental items (i.e. blanket, bed) that would make your dog more comfortable, please do. If your dog requires a crate, please bring this as well.

What happens if my dog gets sick or needs medical care?

You will be contacted immediately while caring for your dog. If you are unable to pick them up and your dog needs immediate medical attention, I will transport the dog to our closest veterinarian, City Paws Animal Hospital on 14th St.

I submitted a request for overnight boarding, when will I receive a confirmation and details on the pricing?

Daycare can be booked and confirmed directly through the booking page. Overnight boarding reservations require a confirmation from the Pip n Pups team. You will receive a confirmation along with a detailed invoice based on your request within 48 hours.

I no longer need my reservation, how do I cancel?

Pip n Pups accepts cancellations up to 24 hours ahead of your reservation. Please email us at pipnpups@gmail.com to cancel your existing reservation. If you already completed payment, it may take 3-5 days to fulfill the refund.

I have Holiday Rates listed on my invoice. What constitutes a “Holiday Rate”?

Due to the high demand for pet-sitting services during the holiday season, stays that include any of the following dates will be priced at the Holiday Rate:

• Dec 22, 2023 - Jan 1, 2024

• Jan 12-15, 2024

• Feb 16-19, 2024

• May 24-27, 2024

• Jul 4-7, 2024

• Aug 30, 2024 - Sep 2, 2024

• Nov 28, 2024 - Dec 1, 2024

• Dec 21, 2024 - Jan 1, 2025

The rate increase will range from +$10-25 per night depending on demand.
